Parent Advisory Council (PAC)



All Lee parents and guardians are automatically members of the Lee Parents Advisory Council (PAC).  Our PAC Executive is elected each May for the following school year and represents our PAC with regards to fundraising activities and spending allotments, but all our Lee Parents can also play a role by providing their input and volunteering their time when the opportunity arises.


Most importantly, we provide a voice for the parent community in our school.  We provide feedback and help facilitate communication with the school regarding whatever is happening at Lee.  It benefits both you and your child to be involved in their education.  Parents’ voices are of tremendous value to their school. 

With the assistance of our Lee families, each year the PAC is able to fund many essential items for the school including the following:

  • Classroom supplies such as arts and crafts materials, stationary and household items, books and special event items.
  • Additional funding for school administration, library, gym/sports, resource, ESL, and band/music.
  • Wishlist items such as classroom projectors, filtered water stations, furniture, mobile sound system, primary play table, library carts, sports jerseys, and iPads.
  • Allotments for class field trips, assisting with transportation and/or activity fees.
  • Special guest speakers and arts residencies.


Each school year, the PAC organizes a variety of fundraising activities such as the Purdy’s, West Coast Seeds, and Family Photo fundraisers, Canteen, plus our annual Prowl-A-Thon.  Our popular Canteen Hot Lunch is offered most Thursdays throughout the year with hot food items such as pizza and hot dogs for sale.  (*Please note that our Canteen program is not currently operating due to COVID-19 restrictions.  The program will resume in Jan 2022.)  The proceeds from these activities fund many of the items listed above for the benefit of all our students at Lee.

Our monthly PAC meetings are a great way to learn more about what is happening at our school, meet other parents and hear about matters affecting your child’s education. 

Our next PAC meeting (and first for the 2021/2022 school year) is scheduled for Wednesday, December 8th at 7 pm.  Please join us via zoom.  Everyone is welcome to attend!  Please take this opportunity to participate in your PAC.
