Our 13th Annual Lee Lion Prowl-A-Thon will be held Friday, May 7th, 2021.  The Prowl-A-Thon is a walk-a-thon with a Lee Lion twist.  Calling on all our Lee Lions to come out and run, jog, walk or otherwise “prowl” around our school track.  We are excited to hold our event since last year’s Prowl-A-Thon was cancelled due to school closure.  This year, students will participate in our Prowl-A-Thon socially-distanced within their cohorts, as per the COVID-19 restrictions of this day.  This PAC fundraising event celebrates our school community and spirit in a unique and healthy way.  Our theme this year is "Animals That Prowl".  Students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite prowler to get into the spirit of the day.  Last month, we reached out to all families of students at Walter Lee Elementary and asked you to consider making a financial contribution to our school through the PAC.  The Prowl-A-Thon is a continuation of the same campaign.  If you have already made a financial contribution to the PAC, thank you for your generosity.  To all remaining families, we are asking you to consider making a financial contribution to your PAC.  Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting our students.  We understand that this may be a difficult time for many in our community, so we greatly appreciate whatever contributions you may be able to afford.  Contributions to the PAC will be collected online only this year through the Richmond School District website at www.sd38.bc.ca .  Please see below for detailed instructions on how to donate.  As part of our Prowl-A-Thon festivities, we will be holding a prize draw.  Make a contribution to this campaign by May 14th, 2021, and your child’s name will be entered in this draw.  Prize winners will be announced at the Sports Day Zoombly in June.  Wonderful prizes have been generously donated to our event by local businesses including Save On Foods, Purdys Chocolatier, London Drugs, The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, The Old Spaghetti Factory, Washworld, Fusion Feast Pizza and Subway Restaurants.  Thank you to all our community sponsors for their support!    The PAC welcomes and encourages all parents to get involved in whatever way you can throughout the school year.  For those parents who are unable to volunteer their time, a financial contribution is a great way to support our school.  Your contribution will help create the best possible learning environment and experience for all students.  If you have any questions about this campaign or how to get involved in the PAC, please email us at LeeElementaryPAC@gmail.com . Enter the amount of your donation.  Select “Lee Elementary” as the Fund Destination to ensure that your donation is received by our school. In the Message to School Board box, enter “Prowlathon” and your child/children’s name(s) and division(s). Click “Add to Cart”.      Step 4:  You will be redirected to the SchoolCashOnline cart.  Please check that your donation amount is correct and that “Lee Elementary” is specified.  Edit if changes are required or click “Continue” when you are ready.
