Welcome Back BBQ & Event: 5:00pm to 7:00pm

After Meet the Staff on Thursday, September 21, stay for the Walter Lee Welcome Back BBQ and kick off the new school year by reconnecting with the school community. This event received funding from the City of Richmond’s Neighbourhood Celebration Grant.

Pre-order your family's BBQ dinner

The BBQ will be prepared by M&M Food Market. Beef hamburgers, hot dogs (contains pork) and veggie burgers will be available through pre-order. You are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner for your family (BBQ facilities are not available for bring-your-own meals).

Thanks to grant funding, each family is eligible for ONE (1) $4 discount off their family BBQ order. All BBQ meals must be pre-ordered online by Wednesday, September 13^th (no on-site sales, discount has no cash value, limit of one discount per family).

ABOUT THE EVENT

• Enjoy live music
• Check out the fun activities from Richmond Public Library, South Arm Community Centre, Block Watch, sports clubs and Vancouver Coastal Health
• Bring a food donation for the Food Bank
• Collect passport stamps when you participate in activities

The event will be held outdoors, so bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Try to walk or bike and bring a refillable water bottle and reusable plate.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The PAC needs some help to make this event a success! We are looking for parents/guardians and older siblings who can help out with jobs like set-up, tear down, food distribution, helping with a baseball activity and stamping passports. Volunteer hours can be signed off for secondary school students. Please check the “VOLUNTEER” option in Munch-a-Lunch that is provided after placing your order, or email Michael at LeeElementaryPAC@gmail.com.
