Message from RDPA: Parent Advocacy During COVID-19
Message from the Richmond District Parents Association (RDPA): Parent Advocacy during COVID-19
Parenting during COVID-19 is even more stressful. Right now, most of us feel a loss of control and so much uncertainty. Advocacy during COVID-19 can still happen and it can help you feel like you are doing something. Parents voices do matter, and we encourage you to use your voice.
Here are some contacts to write letters to on concerns you may have:
Richmond Health Officer - Vancouver Coastal Health Chief - Dr. Meena Dawar - Meena.dawar@vch.ca
Dr Bonnie Henry- Bonnie.henry@gov.bc.ca
Minister of Health - Adrian Dix -Adrian.Dix.MLA@leg.bc.ca
Superintendent Richmond Schools- Scott Robinson SRobinson@sd38.bc.ca
Education Minister - Jennifer Whiteside jennifer.whiteside.MLA@leg.bc.ca
Richmond School Trustees- https://www.sd38.bc.ca/board-education/our-trustees
Richmond MLAs- https://www.leg.bc.ca/learn-about-us/members
Take a breath. We will get through this together.
Sincerely,
Andrew Scallion, President RDPA
Karina Reid, Vice President RDPA
