Our 12th Annual Lee Lion Prowl-A-Thon will be held Friday, May 3rd, 2019.  The Prowl-A-Thon is a walk-a-thon with a Lee Lion twist.  Since it is also International Space Day, our theme this year is Walter Lee Elementary: “Out of this World!”.  Calling on all astronauts and aliens to come out and run, jog, walk or otherwise “prowl” around our school track and support our PAC.  Family and friends are also welcome to join us on the “prowl”.  This PAC fundraising event celebrates our school community and spirit in a unique and healthy way.  Make a contribution to this campaign by May 2nd, 2019 and your child will be included in our prize draw at the Prowl-A-Thon event.  Many wonderful prizes have been generously donated to our event by local businesses including: Bard on the Beach BC Lions Football BC Sports Hall of Fame Beaty Biodiversity Museum Britannia Mine Museum Capilano Suspension Bridge Clip 'N Climb Cora Dan-D-Pak™ Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Fresh Slice Pizza H. In addition, two class pizza parties will also be awarded to the classes which have (1) the largest amount of total contributions, and (2) the largest number of students which make contributions.  Our Grand Prize this year is a Playland Prize Package including One Day Playland Admissions for the winning student and their immediate family, and White Spot gift card. Although we are well underway, we have not yet met our fundraising goal to raise $6000 for our school through this campaign.  If you have already made a financial contribution to the PAC, thank you for your generosity.  Your child will be entered in the Prowl-A-Thon prize draw. To all remaining families, we are asking you to consider making a financial contribution to your PAC.
