Since last fall, we have sent you a request for financial contributions to your Parent Advisory Council (PAC).  We continue to receive a great response to our fundraising campaign!  Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised more than $2600 to date.  That’s already more than 40% of our goal!      On Friday May 4th, 2018, we will be holding our 11th Annual Prowl-A-Thon.  The Prowl-A-Thon is a walk-a-thon with a Lee Lion twist.  The students will complete a number of laps running, jogging, walking or otherwise “prowling’ around our school grounds while we celebrate our Lee community and fundraising efforts for this 2017-2018 school year.  At this event, we will also draw for prizes generously donated by many generous community sponsors.  Prizes include gift certificates, tickets to events and local attractions, and merchandise.  Two class pizza parties will also be awarded to the classes which have (1) the largest amount of total contributions, and (2) the largest number of students which make contributions.  Our “Canada 150”- themed Prowl-A-Thon last May 2017 was a huge success.    Although we are well underway, we have not yet met our fundraising goal to raise $6000 for our school through this campaign.  If you have already made a financial contribution to the PAC, thank you for your generosity and kindly disregard the remainder of this letter.  Your child will be entered in our Prowl-A-Thon prize draw.  We are not asking you to make any additional contributions unless you would like to do so. To all remaining families, we are asking you to consider making a financial contribution to your PAC. Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting our students.  We greatly appreciate any amount you can contribute.  If you contribute at least $30 per student, your child will receive a complimentary Canteen voucher which can be redeemed for a free lunch (a pizza slice, juice box and small snack, or equivalent value) as a special thank you for your support.  Tax receipts are also available for donations of $30 or more.  If you contribute to this campaign at any time this school year, your child will be included in our prize draw at our upcoming Prowl-A-Thon event.
