Prowl-A-Thon #9: SUPERHEROES

Lee Superheroes Unite at Our Annual Prowl-A-Thon #9 on Friday May 6th, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Every year the PAC organizes a major event, our annual Prowl-A-Thon, in efforts to raise funds for PAC supported projects.  This year's event is "Superheroes".  Our Lee Lion Superheroes, together with family and friends, will be "prowling" the track at our school.  Not only is this an opportunity to raise funds, but it also celebrates our school community and spirit in a unique and healthy way.  The walking goal for each class to walk is the number of laps equal to or more than last year's goal of 196.  This represents approximately 8 laps per student.  Come out and walk with us! We are asking all students to raise a minimum of $15 in sponsorship to help us accomplish our goal of raising $4500. If every student raises $15, we will meet our school goal for our PAC classroom support for the year.  Please see the attached "Prowl-A-Thon" pdf for more details and a sponsorship sheet for your child.  Tax receipts are available for donations over $30.  To obtain a tax receipt, complete the general donation form ("Tax Receipt" pdf attached).  Please complete and return all money and forms to the black PAC mailbox on the Gym Kitchen door no later than May 4th.  PRIZES:  Two in-class pizza parties will be awarded to (1) the class which raises the most money and (2) the class which has the highest percentage of students attain the individual donation goal of $15 per child.  All financial contributions that have been submitted since November 2015 and by no later than May 4th, 2016 will be included in prize draws for a variety of prizes including Fresh Slice Pizza certificates, retail gift cards, BC Lions and Canadians' baseball tickets, plus other wonderful prizes from local companies.  PAC's special contribution is the Grand Prize:  a Great Wolf Lodge Getaway.   Be Any-Day-Ready!  We will be walking regardless of the weather so please dress in appropriate clothing.  That means raincoats if it's raining, or hats and sunscreen if it's not.  All students are asked to bring a water bottle - there will be refill stations all around the track.  A Mini-Canteen during Runch will be selling chips and freezies at $1 each.
