As a follow-up to our earlier message last week regarding the Potential School Closure Notice (see attachment below), this post has been prepared to provide information to parents regarding the impact of the Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP) and the potential closure of Walter Lee Elementary School.   For more information regarding the Long Range Facilities Plan, please refer to the Richmond School District website: https://letstalksd38.ca/our-schools-our-students-our-future . We had an excellent turnout last night (Monday May 16) at our May PAC meeting where our school's Consultation Committee presented an overview of the school closure process and the potential impact on Lee school.  An e-copy of handouts distributed at the meeting are attached below:  Walter Lee Potential Closure Package - May 2016 PAC Meeting and Attachments (2 attachments).  The Lee PAC Meeting Minutes May 2016 (to be adopted at the next PAC meeting) are also attached below.
