Parent Information Sessions

The Richmond Public Library will be holding Parent Information Sessions, presented in partnership with Settlement Workers in Schools and the Richmond School District.  Support your children's learning by attending one or more of these sessions: Thursday, November 7th, 4:00-5:00 PM - Math Success:  Learn how math is now being taught in schools by trying some of the hands-on activities currently being used. Presenter: Janice Novakowski, Teacher Consultant, Learning Services, Richmond School District. *Mandarin translation available.  Thursday, December 5th, 4:00-5:00 PM - Report Cards and Communicating Student Learning:  The way schools share your child’s progress is changing! Come to this session to learn how to interpret the evaluation methods used. Presenter: Lynn Archer, Assistant Superintendent, Richmond School District. *Mandarin translation available.
