For the information of families of Grade 7 students this year, Matthew McNair Secondary and Hugh McRoberts Secondary School are holding the following upcoming Program Planning Nights: Matthew McNair Secondary School: The McNair Open House and Program Planning Information Evening is scheduled for Thursday, January 23rd. This event starts at 6:00 PM for parents of incoming Grade 7's where they get to learn about life in a High School. From 7:00-8:00, there will be a showcase of all the great things that happen around McNair every day.  We hope to see everyone attend this very important and fun-filled event that shows what school at McNair is all about! Hugh McRoberts Secondary School: Parents of McRoberts-bound Grade 7 students are cordially invited to our annual Program Planning Night 2020 on Wednesday, January 22nd, 6:00 pm in McRoberts Main Gym.  Our program planning night offers parents of Grade 7 students an opportunity to visit our school, learn about course offerings for their chilldren entering Grade 8 in September, learn about our process which supports students' transition from elementary school to secondary school, and meet staff and administrators.  We hope you are able to make time to attend this important meeting about your child's transition to secondary school.
