PAC Year End Message 2019-2020

Happy Summer!

2019-2020 has been an exceptional year.  While this final term has not turned out as we expected, our Lee school community has persevered.  Thank you to all our wonderful Lee teachers and staff for their guidance, positivity, flexibility and true caring as we navigate through these challenging times.

Thank you to our entire Lee community; staff, students, and families, for your continued support this year of our various PAC fundraising programs including Canteen Hot Lunch.  Unfortunately, we were unable to celebrate our fundraising efforts this year with our annual Prowl-A-Thon, however, thank you to the students and families for their generous contributions made prior to the Spring Break. With your assistance, we continue to fund various school-related expenses which benefit all our students at Lee.

PAC fundraising continues throughout the summer by online shopping with FlipGive.  Shop online from a large selection of popular online retailers and the PAC can earn a fundraising cash back on your purchase.  Go to our FlipGive Storefront at www.flipgive.com/c/232105 to see participating retailers and offers.

Thank you to all our parent volunteers who have lent a hand at any time this year.  Your time and assistance have been very much appreciated! A special thank you to our outgoing PAC Secretary, Anja Rosenke, for all her time and effort with our PAC over many years.

Our PAC Executive for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year will include:

  • PAC Chair - Tina Leung
  • Treasurer - Julie Bevan
  • Co-Secretary - Sandra Minarik & Pandeep Mann
  • Member-At-Large - Bob Mann

Congratulations to our Grade 7s who have graduated and move on to high school next year.  Farewell also to the staff members and other students and families which are leaving Lee this year.  Good luck and best wishes to all.

Please take the opportunity in 2020-2021 to participate in your PAC.  Our next PAC meeting will be scheduled in the fall after we have returned to school in some type of ‘normal’ way.  Details will be posted to our PAC website and WhatsApp when available.

Enjoy a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer.  Looking forward to seeing you next fall!
