RBC 'Race for Kids'

Dear Lee Lions,

Our school community is participating in the RBC 'Race for the Kids' (virtual home edition), in support of BC Children's Hospital, on June 6th. This year we are participating in honor of Kelsey Chen. Kelsey was a Lee Lion, who was a true superhero as she battled cancer for 6 years.

This year the run will begin, on June 6th, at 9am, with a 'Virtual Race Day Celebration'. The link to this will be sent out in a newsletter on June 4th. The Celebration is a 30 minute-long video presentation, to celebrate the participants fundraising success, with special guest speakers and a warm up led by an RBC Olympian.  Following the virtual Celebration, everyone will be encouraged to get active and go out in their neighbourhood to run, bike, walk, skateboard, etc. with their families.

Your family can participate by joining our Lee Lions team here:

* Participants must register before May 24, 2021 to receive their package in time for Race Day. Race day packages available to BC residents only.

When you join the race, you will be sent a race day package with shoelaces and a medal. There are daily challenges to go along with this years race, sent out in a weekly newsletter and a monthly calendar. Attached you will find the Activity Calendar, and the following is a link to this weeks newsletter:
